Stara-Treffen at Seljes 17th to 19th of June

This years Treffen is located on a lakeside at Holiday Center Seljes in Alaveteli.

Seljes offers camping-gottages for about 100 overnighters and unlimited amount of tent-places and several for Mobile Homes (with electricity).

Please call Masa or any other from the organizing committee to assist you if needed.

Arrangements and fees

A fee of 15€ is collected of all members presenting Stara- or VMPK-member cards. Reduced fee goes for the passenger(s) also.

Without membership a fee of 20€ is collected. Price covers arrangement costs and gives you a rally-badge and a small product surprise as a bonus.

Daydreamers enter the area free of charge. We even drop in a teaser that theyre able to join our gourmet dinner on Saturday for a nominal 15€ cost.

Camping site restaurant serves hungry and thirsty visitors on Friday and Saturday from 10AM to 12PM (possibly to 02AM if you feel like partying). On Sunday the restaurant is open from 10AM to 10PM. Restaurant has full rights and it is known of very tasty plates and home baked specialities.

Within the restaurant premises you can find local art on show and a small boutique offering hand made souveniers and some toiletry for your convenience. If you feel like fishing, you can buy necessary gears here too. Rowing boats available.

Nearest shops are Högnäs and Sale in Alaveteli center (15 km from the Camping). There is also an ABC automatic gas station. More shopping opportunities and a liqueur shop located in Kaustinen (20 km from the Camping). There you can find Prisma-supermarket and Teboil, Neste and St1 gas stations.

Accommodation, meals and pricing

Seljes has few camping-cottage gategories, from a modest "top over head" offerings to fully equipped holiday cottages. Don´t worry if the cottages slip away soon, you can always book a place for a tent or a Mobile Home.

All normal camping utilities are at your disposal (included in the overnight fee), like kitchen, toilet, shower and barbeque places.

As a finnish Vintage Japanese Motorcycle club tradition we offer mixed sauna for 24 hours through the weekend as well as separate sauna´s for men and women for some hours in Friday and Saturday evening for free.

The Chef Hannu Ritola of Seljes restaurant serves us a gourmet wok dinner on Saturday evening. Dinner is included in whole weekend food-package for modest 29€ price. Package includes breakfast at the restaurant on Saturday and Sunday morning plus the dinner (dinner available for daydreamers fro 15€).

Seljes is 35 km away from Kokkola, 20 km from Kaustinen and 15 km from highway 13. Address: Seljesharju 204, 68410 Alaveteli (please note that some navigation systems may regognize Seljes as a part of Kruunupyy instead of Alaveteli).
